Stephanie Bertoni

Instructor

Stephanie Bertoni discovered her love of clay in the late ’80s when she wandered into her college ceramics studio and was instantly hooked. She’s the artist behind Stephanie Bertoni Ceramics, a Colchester-based studio where she creates hand-built ceramic pieces inspired by the textures and patterns of nature. Known for using barnboard impressions, carved stamps, and playful forms, her work blends function, beauty, and a deep connection to the natural world. A longtime volunteer at Burlington City Arts, Stephanie now teaches handbuilding there, sharing her passion for clay with students of all levels. She’s excited to bring that same energy and love of teaching to Grounded Earth and looks forward to welcoming more people into the world of clay.
