This session walks you through the full process of lamp construction, from building a ceramic base to safely wiring a variety of socket types. You will learn the practical techniques that turn a sculptural object into a functional light source. Included: core principles of lamp base construction; step-by-step wiring instruction; integration of a glass globe into your lamp design; electrical safety fundamentals; tool handling; guidance on sourcing components. All materials and lamp parts are provided. No prior wiring experience is necessary. You will leave not only with a fully functional ceramic lamp of your own, but with the technical knowledge and confidence to build one yourself.
